Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy & Impingement
Advanced clinical management for subacromial impingement syndrome and rotator cuff tendon dysfunction, designed to restore glenohumeral tracking and pain-free overhead mobility.
Phase 1: Clear Thoracic & Rib Restrictions
Full overhead shoulder reaching requires extension and rotation of the upper back. We utilize precise Chiropractic Adjustments to the thoracic spine and costovertebral (rib) joints to unlock the skeletal foundation of shoulder movement, immediately improving the baseline tracking of the shoulder blade.
Phase 2: Decompress the Subacromial Space
Hypertonic muscle pulling forces trap the arm bone inside its socket, narrowing the joint space. We apply specialized Myofascial Release & Soft Tissue Therapy (ART) to lengthen the pectoralis minor, latissimus dorsi, and subscapularis muscles, pulling the shoulder blade back and open.
Phase 3: Control Localized Tissue Swelling
To calm active subacromial bursitis or tendon inflammation, we apply targeted Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) to stimulate local fluid turnover, paired with functional Kinesiology Taping to microscopically lift the skin, clearing lymphatic congestion and unloading local pain receptors.
Phase 4: Scapulothoracic Stabilization
To ensure long-term joint clearance, we design a Custom Exercise Therapy & Rehab program focused on eccentric rotator cuff strengthening and lower trapezius/serratus anterior activation, retraining the shoulder blade to rotate cleanly during dynamic movement.
