Vertigo and Cervicogenic Dizziness
Advanced management for balance disorders, separating and treating inner ear crystal displacement (BPPV) and upper cervical proprioceptive tracking faults.
Phase 1: Particle Repositioning and Cervical Alignment
If dizziness is driven by inner ear positioning errors (BPPV), we deploy non-invasive Canalith Repositioning Maneuvers (such as the Epley) to guide displaced crystals out of the semicircular canals. Simultaneously, we use precise Chiropractic Adjustments to address structural restrictions in the upper neck.
Phase 2: Normalize Suboccipital Tension
The deep muscles at the base of the skull contain the body's highest density of balance receptors. We apply targeted Myofascial Release & Soft Tissue Therapy (ART) to clear hypertonic suboccipital spasms, eliminating the chaotic neural signaling that drives cervicogenic dizziness.
Phase 3: Deep Cervical Mechanoreceptor Reset
To smooth out lingering neck stiffness and chronic joint tension, we utilize targeted Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) over the posterior cervical fascia. This treatment stimulates localized blood flow and resets local mechanical pain pathways.
Phase 4: Vestibulo-Ocular and Postural Rehab
To lock in permanent balance resolution, we design a Custom Exercise Therapy & Rehab program focusing on Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT), gaze-stabilization drills, and deep neck flexor coordination to retrain your spatial awareness.
